In January 2022, the Chicago Sun-Times entered into a new partnership with Chicago Public Media and became a nonprofit. We’ve taken down our paywall because we believe that reliable, high-quality journalism should be accessible by all. We also launched a new membership program that will help us continue to provide the journalism you depend on. 

To continue supporting the Chicago Sun-Times with a voluntary membership, you don’t need to do anything. Your current payment settings, including your auto-renew settings, will remain in effect — although instead of a subscription, you will now be supporting the Sun-Times as a member. As a member, payments made after October 6, 2022, are tax deductible as a contribution to Chicago Sun-Times Media, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3).

Your membership will help make everything the Chicago Sun-Times publishes at chicago.suntimes.com available for the entire community. And as a benefit reserved for those financially supporting our mission, you’ll continue to receive exclusive access to a daily replica of our print newspaper at paper.suntimes.com.

Use this page to manage your Membership. After logging in, you can:

  • Manage your donation amount, and update your Membership settings by clicking “Manage” in the Memberships tab
  • Verify your payment method is still valid in the Cards tab
  • See previous payments in the History tab
  • Change your email address and/or password in the Profile tab
